Welcome to the INTLAG web application pages.

The INTLAG web application is a unique tool for the management of international work placements and relationships with host organisations. The application was created within the EC OP project Development of Quality Assurance System of International Work Placements of Palacký University Students, implemented by the International Relations Office of Palacký University in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of the Olomouc Region. The application, as the main tool of the system, shall bring substantial efficiency improvement of the international work placement agenda and increase the number of these mobilities while maintaining required quality.

The project, including the application development, is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the state budget of the Czech Republic.

Mgr. Veronika Smutná
  • Graduate in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Faculty of Science UP
  • 6-month Erasmus work placement at Institut Gustave Roussy, France
"I can recommend an internship at the Institut Gustave Roussy due to the demanding nature of work mainly to students of higher grades. The employer expects extensive laboratory experience, high professionalism and expert performance. During the internship, I proved to be able to apply my acquired knowledge in practice, learned new methods and encountered other research concepts. After the internship, I felt much better prepared to start working in my field. A half-year stay abroad also taught me to take care of myself in extreme situations."
Bc. Štěpánka Bublíková
  • Student of English Philology – French Philology, Philosophical Faculty UP
  • 5-month Erasmus work placement at C.E.I.P. EL ZARGAL, Spain
"My internship at the bilingual elementary school C.E.I.P. EL ZARGAL in Granada, where I worked as an assistant English teacher, was a great professional and personal experience for me. I improved my teaching and methodological skills, gained experience in working with children and extended my language competency. Working in a foreign team increased my flexibility and sense of organisation, systems and responsibility."
Mgr. Petra Krtičková
  • Graduate in Physiotherapy, Faculty of Physical Culture UP
  • 3-month Erasmus work placement at Yeditepe Üniversitesi (Yeditepe University Hospital and Sportomed Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centre), Turkey
"Internship showed me a different perspective on physiotherapy and care organisation. I benefited primarily from the human approach in the therapist – patient relationship and by broadening my experience in sports physiotherapy."
Jakub Kubias
  • Student of General Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry UP
  • 3-month Erasmus work placement at Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, Switzerland
"Internship at the Neurosurgical Clinic in Geneva for me, a person used to the rather rigid and theoretically oriented educational system in Czech undergraduate medicine, created with its purely practical contents a perfect bridge between the study and the reality of everyday medical practice. To take on the burden of responsibility during such a dry run, in addition to the improvement of language skills and also knowledge of the field, is an invaluable experience for every student on the boundary between studies and working life. I am very grateful for this opportunity and recommend it to everyone."
Mgr. Lucie Kuncová
  • Graduate in Law and Legal Science, Faculty of Law UP
  • 6-month Erasmus work placement at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Belgium
  • 2-month Freemover work placement at CEBRE - Czech Business Representation to the EU, Belgium
"Internships not only helped me to deepen my professional and language knowledge and skills, but also gave me the opportunity to meet many interesting people and friends. I consider both internships completed during my eight-month stay in Brussels as my life experience. They helped me not only to decide where and how I want to focus my professional life, but also while searching for employment."
